Our Community

IntelliShop is located in Perrysburg, Ohio, just south of Toledo.  We are proud of our community, and we believe in giving back and supporting local causes.


Originally settled in 1810, Perrysburg is one of only two cities platted by the federal government (the other is Washington, D.C.).  Our city gets its name from a decree honoring Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, who on September 10, 1813 was victorious against the superior British Fleet in what would become known as The Battle of Lake Erie.

Today, Perrysburg is a diverse, family-oriented community of more than 21,000 people.  We are located within 10 miles of three excellent universities, home to the Crossroads of America, and are the center of the nation’s cutting-edge solar power industry.  Solar power companies First Solar and Willard & Kelsey are headquartered here, as well as Fortune 500 company Owens-Illinois.  Our public schools are among the best in the state, and one of just 28 systems to receive the State Excellent Rating with 18 out of 18 indicators.  On days with nice weather, many people can be seen strolling our Historic Downtown’s main street, shopping or enjoying one of the many local restaurants located here.
